President Donald Trump has named Chad Wolf to be the next acting head of Homeland Security, the fifth person in the job for this administration.
While speaking to reporters Friday outside the White House en route to a rally in Mississippi, Trump said he had chosen Wolf, ending weeks of speculation over who would head up the department after Kevin McAleenan resigned in October.
Wolf used to do “lobbying on behalf of NASSCOM, a leader in the American job outsourcing industry that seeks no restrictions on the H-1B visa program to ensure employers can outsource an unlimited number of U.S. jobs to imported foreign workers” https://t.co/xwnCSQcmf4

Trump apparently told reporters Chad Wolf is now acting secretary at DHS but I'm told McAleenan still remains on the job, so unclear that this has actually happened yet

He had previously served in several positions in the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including as Chief of Staff of the Transportation Security Administration and Chief of Staff of DHS under Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen; as well as being Senior Director of a bipartisan lobbying firm.
