“Never let a good tragedy go to waste” are words Democrats surely embrace with yet another example of which can be seen in Obama’s posting on Twitter words equating the death of convicted felon George Floyd to the bloodbath massacre of 21 innocent souls. And it’s not just Obama but Democrats across the board who continue to try and blame Republicans for not having passed stricter “gun control” laws prior to the recent happenings at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Now reaching a fevered pitch not seen since the day when, almost ten years ago, 20-year old Adam Lanza killed 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, we still see the Democrats refusing to initiate workable solutions that would put an end to school shootings because those solutions do not match their anti-gun agenda.

And by now most know the specifics regarding the massacre at Robb Elementary School where at around 11:30am CT, 18-year old high school dropout Salvador Ramos walked into the school (which was caught on camera) and eventually opened fire killing 19 young children and two teachers. Ramos, who acted alone, had earlier in the day posted on his since taken down Facebook page about how he was going to shoot his grandmother and how he was going to shoot children at an elementary school…posts which Facebook originally left up as, I guess, said posts did not meet their Community Standards regarding violence until after the fact…sad isn’t it. And most also know that when he turned 18, Salvador Ramos legally purchased two assault rifles at a local Uvalde gun store, one on March 17th the other on March 20th, along with 375 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, and seven 30-round magazines, and that all the children and teachers who died were inside a single classroom where Ramos had eventually “barricaded”himself.

Killed by a U.S. Border Protection agent, whom Ramos shot in the leg when confronted, what remains unknown, to date, is why didn’t police enter the school immediately upon arrival…which is still under investigation…as well as Ramos’ motive for his actions as he had no adult criminal record nor did he have a mental health adjudication citation which would have prevented him from buying any sort of firearm let alone two assault rifles. And it doesn’t help that his mother, Adriana Reyes, a now “claimed” former drug addict, said in a recent ABC interview that her son was “not a monster,” but that he could “be aggressive.” Well if she, his mother, knew and saw aggressive tendencies in her son…as did many of his former classmates…why didn’t she get him help, as uncontrolled anger many times does lead to unchecked violence. And by the way, Ms. Reyes, one who kills 21 people of which 19 of the dead are young children, is indeed “a monster.”

So now as the expected political vitriol sets in with the left’s call for even stricter “gun control” laws, let alone a possible repeal of the second amendment, know that all this is for naught for what the left always forgets is first, guns…an inanimate object…do not kill people, people kill people…second, the actions regarding gun laws that the Democrats keep insisting upon will in no way hold up to constitutional scrutiny…third, those sorts determined to do bodily harm to others will always find a way to get a gun or use other means to do what they intend to do…and lastly, “gun control” laws only work for law-abiding citizens, criminals and evil sorts just laugh at and make a mockery of said laws.

So what is the solution to keeping America’s children safe while at school? There are many options available…simple options…that are generally overlooked with the first being to lock down all points of entry when school is in session and where one wanting or needing to enter would then have to show ID to get in…ID that would be held up to a camera placed at said entry and then be verified in the main office before entry was or was not allowed.

Second, the call for more School Resource Officers (SRO) has been proposed many times before. And while having an armed officer present during schools hours does have its merits, and is actually backed by the NRA (National Rifle Association), it is not a truly workable solution for today’s schools are larger, both in physical size and population, than ever before and a school would need way more than just one or two officers to cover all points of an intruders possible entry. Simple logistics makes this a limited solution at best.

Third and most importantly, the fact is that contrary to what the Democrats say, we as Americans have a constitutionally granted right to keep and bear arms and no sign that announces “This Is A Gun Free Zone” will stop the killing for all the sign does is give the killer the advantage in knowing that he or she will be the only with a gun and that many innocents will die before they themselves are finally stopped. 

So the only feasible solution is to train, license, and arm teachers…all teachers and even permanent in-classroom aides…in tandem with having all classroom doors locked from the inside when classes are in session…and then let the public know by making this federal, state, and local policy. In other words, keep our children safe by allowing firearms…by allowing guns…to work for us not against us by initiating policies that send a clear message that America’s schools will no longer be an easily accessible killing field for only in doing so will these senseless tragedies end.

And here is another tragedy but of a different sort that Democrats dare not let go to waste and it comes in the guise of Biden’s sounding a doomsday alarm over something we simply do not need to be alarmed about.

“My health advisers haven’t told me the level of exposure yet, but it is something that everybody should be concerned about. We’re working on it hard to figure out what we do and what vaccine, if any, may be available for it.” – Joe Biden’s words before leaving for Japan and South Korea

So let’s start by saying that we knew this was coming… political destiny foretold it as Democrats simply see this as yet another chance at fixing the midterm election in their favor. And one of the fixes de jour now comes in the guise of a disease called “monkeypox”…a disease which according to Biden has “invaded our shores.” And why “invaded ” …because, as I write this, Biden considers the 80 confirmed western cases worldwide, cases divided between Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the two U.S. confirmed cases…one in Massachusetts and one in New York City…and the now seven other U.S. suspected cases…as being paramount to an “invasion. ”

And with, again as I write this, yet another 50+ suspected cases are being investigated by WHO (the World Health Organization), it was not unexpected to see “monkeypox”still being blown way out of proportion what with WHO’s words “atypical surge” being bantered about. And these two words alone gave Democrats their much needed ammunition to once again use an illness as an excuse to call for an increase in mail-in voting…or better yet an all mail-in-ballot mid-term election. And know I’d be amiss to say that only a blind man couldn’t see this coming especially with Covid now being “endemic” as opposed to “pandemic” in nature.

So with “monkeypox,” a generally mild, rarely fatal disease being endemic in nature, and with it yet causing what’s considered to be “widespread outbreaks” beyond its point of origin in remote areas of Africa, still sees it slowly making inroads into the West. And yet its spread within the general population remains limited in scope with the occasional outbreak still mostly affecting those traveling to countries in Central and West Africa… countries where people are routinely infected by viruses via the bites, scratches, and/or close contact with animals…animals like rodents and primates…and where “monkeypox” cases do occur on a somewhat routine basis.

However, this recent outbreak…an outbreak that Biden and crew have already politically started seizing upon…still sees WHO describing said outbreak as but a “random event” that seems to have had as its ground zero sexual activity that took place at two “rave parties” in Spain and Belgium. And with cases now surfacing in Great Britain being mostly in gay men you can safely assume that some British gay men were at said rave parties and unknowingly brought “monkeypox” home to Britain with them.

So what exactly is “monkeypox?” Related to well established and treatable viruses like smallpox, cowpox, camelpox, and horsepox, “monkeypox” first appeared in 1958 in colonies of laboratory research monkeys, with the first human cases surfacing in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the early 1970s. Thankfully, “monkeypox” in humans presents itself on a much less severe basis than does smallpox, yet its symptoms begin as most virus’ do with fever and body aches, and where it eventually manifests itself with telltale blister-like oozing lesions. And while “monkeypox” is not an air born “spreader” like Covid-19, it does spread through direct contact with an infected animal or person, especially if one comes in close contact with the lesions of someone infected, hence the close contact during sexual relations itself now being its newest mode of transmission.

And the corresponding brouhaha over “monkeypox” now comes replete with media generated scare tactics no matter that it’s common knowledge that both vaccines and treatments for “monkeypox” have been available for decades. In fact, know that the smallpox vaccine itself is effective against “monkeypox” and that two current FDA-approved vaccines for smallpox are currently stored in the Strategic National Stockpile…100+ million doses of said vaccine to be exact…with the one known as Jynneos already having FDA-approval for use against “monkeypox.” So there is no need to fall for any scare tactics going around for “monkeypox,” even if it were to spread globally…which is highly unlikely…it will be nothing like the spread nor the seriousness of Covid-19.

So Biden’s above stated words in regards to “monkeypox” being something that “we should all be concerned about,” as well as the aforementioned Democrats “gun control” narrative in the wake of the Ulvade, TX elementary school shooting, are both but political posturing being used as scare tactics to not only push forward the Democrats liberal agenda, but are a last ditch attempt to try and negate their own political bloodbath come this November. Case closed.
